This series is part of an ongoing practice of finding forms, patterns, and visual compositions in spaces and objects not designed to be seen as such, but which reveal, under close observation, a quiet visual order. The kitchen, like many other places, holds geometry and rhythm that exist independent of intention. These photographs are an attempt to make that order visible.

The kitchen is a space of purpose and motion—loud, occupied, and fast through the day. By the day’s end, dishes and utensils collect in the sink, and as the light dims with the night, the clutter loses its domestic meaning. What remains are edges, reflections, the quiet geometry of surfaces no longer in use.

This is where observation begins. Looking closely at stacked bowls or the arc of a handle, the familiar loses its function and becomes something else—a study of edge and shadow, weight and curve. The subject stops being kitchenware and becomes form.
